ATI drivers are already optimized for your product from the initial installation. Installing a new driver is only recommended if you are experiencing issues with your ATI product, including those mentioned below:

- Softimage 5: Running the application under the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system no longer results in corruption being noticed when the desktop resolution is set to 3840x2400 
- Solidworks 2006: Display corruption is no longer noticed when moving the mouse pointer over any portion of the application window when the desktop is set to 3840x2400
