Resolved Issues
The following section provides a summary of the issues that have been resolved in the latest version of Catalyst for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
- City of Villains: Playing the game on a system containing an ATI Radeon X1900 series of product and running the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system no longer results in the game running slowly when setting FSAA to 2x, 4x, or 6x when the display resolution is set to 1280x1024 and the in game Advanced Graphics Setting along with Depth of Field Effects are enabled. - Uber Soldier: Watching the opening cinematics of the game followed by pressing the ESC key to go to the main menu of the game no longer results in game exiting to the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition desk.Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-22823
- Catalyst Control Center: Connecting an LCD display device to the primary port and a CRT to the secondary port via a DVI connector on an ATI Radeon X1600 series no longer results in the primary and secondary display device being swapped after a VPU recover event occurs. This issue was known to occur when extended desktop mode was enabled under the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system. Further details can be found in topic number 737-22826
Known Issues
The following section provides a summary of open issues in the latest version of Catalyst for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. These include:
- Using Movie Maker 2.1 to capture video under Windows XP Professional x64 Edition results in the captured video being corrupt. Further details can be found in topic number 737-19820
- Attempting to re-enable any display device other than the primary or secondary display device that has been disabled by CrossFire, may result in the operating system failing to respond. Further details can be found in topic number 737-21663
- Catalyst Control Center: Creating a profile for Assigned Image Panel Settings and a second profile for Avivo Color aspects may result in the profiles not being applied when toggling between the two profiles.
