Sulla scia del successo della sua nuova generazione di schede madri, Sapphire Technology ha appena annunciato l’aggiunta di due modelli alla serie Pure Crossfire: si tratta dei primi prodotti ad offrire prestazioni 16x su entrambi gli slot PCI-Express di un sistema GPU duale, oltre a svariate funzioni avanzate che garantiscono prestazioni e qualità di massimo livello agli appassionati del settore e notevoli vantaggi ai creatori di sistemi.

Overclock estremo!

La scheda madre PURE Crossfire PC-A9RD580, esclusività di Sapphire, si presenta davvero bene con il suo originale design di colore bianco. Inoltre, le sue estreme funzioni di overclock ed espansione la rendono senza dubbio la scheda più desiderabile della sua categoria. Basata sui più recenti chipset Radeon Express-3200 e SB450 Southbridge, questa scheda combina il supporto dei potenti e acclamati processori AMD Athlon64TM, FX e dual core al set più completo di funzioni altamente efficienti attualmente disponibile.

Per la prima volta, entrambi gli slot grafici PCI-Express di questa scheda madre forniscono 16 canali in grado di garantire le migliori prestazioni possibili con due schede grafiche e in modalità Crossfire. Questa scheda supporta l’interfaccia 2000MT/s HyperTransport e un massimo di 4 GB di memoria DDR Dual Channel. Le opzioni BIOS consentono inoltre di regolare le velocità della CPU, del bus e della memoria su una vasta gamma di impostazioni, offrendo le funzioni di overclock estreme agognate dagli appassionati del settore.

Uno slot aggiuntivo PCI-Express affiancato da uno slot standard PCI soddisfano ogni esigenza di espansione. Basata sulla stessa entusiasmante architettura, la scheda Sapphire PURE Crossfire Advantage offre agli integratori di sistemi la soluzione più vantaggiosa per sistemi grafici duali ad alte prestazioni e qualsiasi processore della serie AMD Athlon64. Anche in questo caso sono totalmente supportati due slot PCI-Express a 16 canali, nonché due porte PCI-Express x1 e due slot PCI. Le funzioni integrate includono sia porte Gbit che porte 10/100 LAN, 4x SATA-I più 2x SATA-II, due porte ATA133, otto porte USB 2.0 e una porta parallela. Con la sua scheda audio a 8 canali integrata e SPDIF out, questa scheda offre la soluzione più completa e perciò più vantaggiosa per i sistemi grafici duali basati su AMD.

Full Dual 16-lane PCI-Express is again supported, together with two PCI-Express x1 ports and two PCI slots. On board features include both Gbit and 10/100 LAN, 4x SATA-I plus 2x SATA-II and two ATA133 ports, eight USB 2.0 and one parallel port. With it’s on board 8-channel sound and SPDIF out this board provides the most integrated and thus cost effective solution for an AMD based dual graphics system.

In addition to a WHQL Driver CD, Sapphire mainboards are now shipping with a comprehensive software bundle, including Trend Micro Internet Security 2004, StompSoft PC BackUp, Stompsoft Privacy Protector and Stompsoft Trial Software (Recover LostData, Spyware X-terminator) as well as a Sapphire Select DVD, the exciting new way to deliver a choice of games to the end user. The DVD contains a selection of top applications and games from several leading software houses. The end customer can play each of the games for a one hour trial before choosing which titles to keep and using the activation codes for those titles.
