PowerColor lancia due HD 4980 con cooler PCS+ di ZEROtherm

TUL Corporation ha annunciato due nuove schede grafiche della gamma PowerColor HD 4890, indicate rispettivamente con le denominazioni commerciali di PowerColor PCS+ HD 4890: Battle Forge Edtion e PowerColor PCS+ HD4890.

Come si intuisce dalla sigla dei prodotti, il board maker li ha dotati della tecnologia Professional Cooling System PLUS o PCS+ sviluppata da ZEROtherm, che raffredda in maniera ottimale i componenti cardine del PCB, permettendo in particolare l'operatività della gpu a 950MHz e della RAM (1GB di G-DDR5) a 1100MHz fisici.

Le due soluzioni sono identiche dal punto di vista elettronico; a fare la differenza è la presenza nel bundle della PowerColor PCS+ HD 4890: Battle Forge Edtion del titolo DirectX 10.1 Battle Forge. Entrambe le card saranno commercializzate il 5 Maggio con un MSRP pari rispettivamente a $254 (PowerColor PCS+ HD4890 Battle Forge Edtion) e a $249 (PowerColor PCS+ HD4890).
