Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, POINT OF VIEW, ben noto maker di video card basate sulle gpu di NVIDIA, ha presentato ufficialmente il suo primo netbook realizzato intorno alla piattaforma Ion di NVIDIA. Il prodotto, che è siglato Mobii ION 230, abbina alla potente gpu di ION il processore Intel Atom 230 ed offre in ultima analisi prestazioni sorprendenti in ambito multimediale.

Tra le feature del nuovo Mobii ION 230, che supporta le tecnologie DirectX 10, Shader Model 4.0, Purevideo HD e CUDA, segnaliamo il display LCD da 10.2-inch, realizzato in tecnologia LED, la cui risoluzione ottimale è pari a 1024x600, l'hard drive da 160Gb e 1GB di memoria centrale, oltre a una web cam da 1.3Mpx, due porte USB, una porta Gigabit Ethernet e una batteria a 6 celle dalla durata massima di 4 ore.

In accordo al produttore la riproduzione di filmati in 1080P HD è sostanzialmente perfetta.
