OCZ ha annunciato di recente i moduli di memoria RAM DDR2 a 1066MHz siglati PC2-8500 Platinum SLI-Ready Edition. Essi sono caratterizzati da un profilo di timing pari a 4-5-5-15 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS), dal supporto per EPP (Enhanced Performance Profiles) e dal sistema di raffreddamento basato su XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection): queste ultime due feature riflettono l'attenzione che il produttore ha prestato per garantire ampi margini di overclock e stabilità dell'hardware.
