Nell'ambito del comunicato stampa di seguito allegato ASUS ha pubblicato la lista delle sue motherboard pienamente compatibili con i nuovi processori Phenom di AMD caratterizzati da un TDP (Thermal Design Power) di 140W. Queste cpu non sono ancora in commercio anche se si attende a breve l'immissione sul mercato del primo esemplare, il Phenom 9950 (4 core a 2.6GHz).

ASUS fa inoltre sapere che la lista (cfr. l'immagine seguente) non è completa nella misura in cui i suoi ingegneri sono al lavoro per conseguire aggiornamenti del firmware in taluni casi e dell'hardware in altri che permettano l'ampliamento di tale elenco con l'aggiunta di schede madri già in commercio.
