Kingston Technology ha annunciato due nuovi kit di RAM DDR3, con capacità complessiva pari a 8GB, indirizzati alle configurazioni dual-channel implementabili con le piattaforme Core i5 e Core i7 di Intel che ruotano intorno al socket di recente introduzione LGA-1156.
I kit, che includono quattro moduli di DDR3 da 2GB, ottimizzati per XMP e appartenenti alla ben nota e apprezzata linea HyperX, sono siglati KHX1600C8D3K4/8GX e KHX1333C7D3K4/8GX.
Il primo è caratterizzato da una un frequenza di clock, da un profilo di timing e da un MSRP pari rispettivamente a 1600MHz, CL8-8-8-24 @ 1.65v e $255 mentre gli analoghi parametri per il secondo sono pari a 1333MHz, CL7-7-7-21 @ 1.65v e $240.
