Con il comunicato stampa di seguito allegato, Lexar Media ha annunciato nuovi moduli di RAM on-ECC di tipo DDR3-1333MHz (PC3-10600) aventi una capienza pari a 4GB, e dunque tale da permettere l'equipaggiamento di motherboard dotate di 4 slot con ben 16GB di memoria locale
Si tratta di DIMM compatibili con le piattaforme basate sui processori Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7 e AMD AM3 e utilizzabili sia con gli OS a 64-bit che con quelli a 32-bit, anche se in questo caso non tutta la RAM installata può essere indirizzata dall'ambiente.
