ViewSonic ha annunciato VX2739wm, il primo monitor al mondo Full HD da 27-inch, caratterizzato da un tempo di risposta pari a 1ms. E' evidente che un simile requisito, unitamente alle dimensioni del pannello, rendono la device particolarmente idonea per l'ambito gaming "estremo".

Oltre al tempo di risposta molto basso, VX2739wm vanta un rapporto di contrasto dinamico di 100.000:1 e una luminosità di 300 cd/m2; inoltre, il display utilizzato da ViewSonic è un TFT widescreen a matrice attiva con risoluzione nativa pari a 1920x1080 (WUXGA).

VX2739wm è dotato di ingressi di tipo HDMI, DVI e VGA; inoltre, rende disponibili quattro porte USB 2.0. Può operare in una modalità "ECO" che permette una riduzione del consumo di potenza, che può arrivare fino al 35%.
