The Document Foundation annuncia il Programma di Certificazione, per facilitare lo sviluppo di servizi professionali intorno a LibreOffice, e aiutare la crescita dell'ecosistema che gravita intorno al progetto. "Il Programma di Certificazione riconosce la competenza dei professionisti che sono in grado di sviluppare e supportare il software LibreOffice, offrire sia servizi di integrazione relativi alla suite di produttività che formazione e manutenzione, e aiutare le aziende nei progetti di migrazione dal software proprietario al software libero", commenta Italo Vignoli, Membro del Board of Director di The Document Foundation. "La certificazione è un'opportunità per gli sponsor e i membri di TDF, e per le terze parti come i rivenditori a valore aggiunto, per costruire un business basato su LibreOffice, e aiutare le aziende di ogni tipo e dimensione a trarre il massimo dalla migliore suite per ufficio libera della storia".
Il Programma di Certificazione verrà coordinato dal Board of Directors, attraverso un comitato di certificazione coordinato da Italo Vignoli e composto da 10 persone: Olivier Hallot e Charles Schulz per il Board of Director; Sophie Gautier e Cor Nouws per il Membership Committee; Stephan Bergmann, Jan Holesovsky, Tim Janik e Björn Michaelsen per la comunità degli sviluppatori; Lothar Becker e Jacqueline Rahemipour per le terze parti.
I primi sviluppatori le prime terze parti certificate verranno annunciati a maggio nel corso del LinuxTag (Berlino, 23-26 maggio), in occasione della prima riunione del comitato di certificazione. Dopo il meeting, The Document Foundation annuncerà una roadmap per la certificazione, che comprenderà i pre-requisiti per le terze parti che non sono coinvolte nel progetto, e le prime date per i training e le sessioni di esame.

The Certification Program will be overseen by the Board of Directors, through a Certification Committee coordinated by Italo Vignoli and composed by 10 people: Olivier Hallot and Charles Schulz for the Board of Directors; Sophie Gautier and Cor Nouws for the Membership Committee; Stephan Bergmann, Jan Holesovsky, Tim Janik and Björn Michaelsen for the developer’s community; Lothar Becker and Jacqueline Rahemipour for third parties.
The first certified developers and third parties will be announced in May during LinuxTag (Berlin, May 23-26), when the Certification Committee will meet for the first time. After the meeting, TDF will announce the roadmap for certification, including pre-requisites for third parties not involved in the project, and the first dates for trainings and exams.
