TUL Corporation ha annunciato la video card PowerColor PCS+ HD7870 Myst. Edition (part number: AX7870 2GBD5-2DHPPV3E), una soluzione che amplia la gamma di prodotti high-end PCS+, caratterizzata da uno stadio di alimentazione progettato in accordo alla tecnologia proprietaria Gold Power Kit, che stabilizza l'erogazione della potenza elettrica alla GPU e agli altri componenti della scheda al crescere delle frequenze in gioco (overclocking).

La frequenza di clock del core grafico della PowerColor PCS+ HD7870 Myst. Edition è pari a 925MHz in condizioni di default, mentre il suo valore, in virtù del supporto della tecnologia AMD PowerTune, può raggiungere dinamicamente il valore massimo di 975MHz, in funzione della potenza di calcolo richiesta dalle applicazioni in esecuzione.

Il frame buffer, implementato con 2GB di G-DDR5, lavora invece a 1500MHz (6.0Gbps) e scambia dati con la GPU con l'ausilio di un bus a 256-bit. La PowerColor PCS+ HD7870 Myst. Edition supporta inoltre la funzionalità Windows 8 Fast Boot e le tecnologie AMD Eyefinity, AMD HD3D e DirectX 11.1.

Il kit di connettori di uscita è composto da una porta dual-link DVI-I, una HDMI e due mini DP.
