This is the first update for Far Cry that enables HDR and FSAA support: it' a pre-release patch so please use it carefully. Besides, Ubisoft and CryTek didn't officialy annunce this file at own web sites.
The ATI Radeon X1xxx would be supported: we didn't tested it with nVIDIA cards so you could post your results in our forums.
