Dopo ASUS, anche MSI ha pubblicato la lista delle proprie motherboard dotate di supporto per i prossimi processori con socket AM3 di AMD. L'elenco, che è presente anche nella immagine che segue, include tutte le motherboard di MSI AM2+ Ready, basate sui chipset delle linee AMD 7 e NVIDIA nForce 700a SLI.
La compatibilità con i chip quad-core a 45nm di AMD viene ottenuta mediante l'aggiornamento del bios, che è già disponibile in versione beta per tutte le schede madri della lista, ad eccezione delle DKA790GX e DKA790GX Platinum, entrambe basate sul chipset AMD 790GX, per le quali MSI offre già il download di una release finale.
