NVIDIA ha rilasciato il driver GeForce v. 197.41 - dotato di certificazione Microsoft WHQL - per la configurazione delle schede grafiche basate sulle GPU desktop della linea GeForce GTX 400 (varianti GeForce GTX 480 e GeForce GTX 470) in ambiente Windows x86 e x64.
Il chip maker ha reso disponibili quattro differenti pacchetti che permettono l'installazione del nuovo NVIDIA GeForce Driver con i Sistemi Operativi Windows XP/MCE 32-bit, Windows XP 64-bit, Windows Vista/7 32-bit e Windows Vista/7 64-bit.
La suite GeForce v. 197.41 installa il nuovo software di sistema PhysX v. 9.10.0129 e il driver HD Audio v. 1.0.9.1; inoltre supporta CUDA Toolkit 3.0 e OpenCL 1.0.
