Package più recente, reso disponibile da Microsoft in versione "Multilingual" e in formato "Redistributable", contenente la release di Marzo 2009 delle API DirectX 9.0c. Questo download è dedicato in primis agli sviluppatori di software basato su DirectX poichè essi, rispettando determinate condizioni di utilizzo aderenti alla policy Microsoft, possono includerlo nei bundle dei loro prodotti. Nel pacchetto sono inoltre incluse le versioni più recenti di DirectX Runtime: tali librerie sono utilizzabili dall'utente finale per la configurazione ottimale del sistema rispetto alle applicazioni che fanno uso di DirectX (in primis giochi e applicazioni multimediali in genere).
